Last Christmas in much loved Pukawa

Already 3 months ago… … as usual I’m catching up with time…

As we gear up to go travelling I’m attempting to update the blog and we’re planning new ways of keeping in touch. More news on that soon.

Meantime, we sadly said our goodbyes to Pukawa. Much loved by family and friends for over 35 years, the gorgeous bach in Pukawa Bay (southern end of Taupo Lake) was build by Alex (Leonor’s grand-dad) and designed by architect and missed family friend, late Steve McGavok.

It’s solidly built of memories and forever in ours.

Leonor adds that in Pukawa she had a first ice-cream.

Nice fotos to remember the farewell from a beautifull house.
